Covid-19 Update

To help ensure that football can continue to operate and the appropriate safeguards are in place to reduce the risk of transmission, all players, parents, officials and spectators are required to comply with the following guidelines • Do not attend football if you are feeling unwell or have any cold or flu like symptoms, even a runny nose or scratchy throat • Wash and/or sanitize hands before and after attending all training and games • Players arrived dressed and ready to train of play • Limit the use of change rooms • Players must comply with the 1.5m social distancing rule (except during games) • No shaking hands, high fives, hugging other players, match officials, team officials or spectators • No players walkouts prior to matches • No player huddles • Avoid car pooling as this is considered “close contact” and increases the risk of transmisson • Do not share drink bottles • Do not share containers of food, incluing oranges. Players should bring their own food and snacks • Limit the number of spectators that accompany players to training and games

New Equipment for 2020

Through the work of our committee, our sponsors & you, our members, we have been able to raise anough funds to purchase new equipment for 2020 including • 300 training balls • 200 training cones • 10 sets of SSF goals • Nets for Field 1 • Gear bags And last but not least, a new playing strip. All teams will be fitted out in their new playing shirts within the next few weeks! They look amazing & we can’t wait to see our teams fitted out in them

Customised Firepits

The Club has been approached by LADIC Fabrications who makes customized firepits. Firepits are made to order and can be made with the Hornets logo or any logo of your choice. September Challenge

Due to Covid-19 and potential “Covid butts” forming, four of our directors will be forming a team to raise funds for September. With a minimum of 10,000 per day for 28 days, i’m sure there is going to be few sore muscles and feet amongst them. Thank you to Greg, Leona, Peter & Cassie for stepping up to the challenge.
